Character Description:
Solaria was always tall and thin for her age, standing at 5’8.5” and normally around 120-126lb, with long wavy fiery red hair and laughing bright blue eyes. While she is always quick to laugh but often looks angry or upset when thinking, she often has her hair tied up and back in all sorts of ways, from simple ponytails to elaborate up-dos, Solaria is always trying something new, her favorite things to add are strings of golden thread, hair wraps with dangling gems, and bright red-orange feathers tied in her crimson waves. Solaria also has a habit of dressing in ‘unconventional’ ways, she’ll wear jeans and an over sized sweater one day, a full on 16th century gown complete with corset the next, and finish the week dressed like a ‘flower child’ from the 60s.

LIKES:
fancy hair styles and outfits, reading Tarot cards, baking cookies and cakes, reading fantasy or sci-fi books and then writing Fan Fiction about said books, and sewing unusually costumes

WEAKNESSES:
Apart from being totally rubbish at any sort of history or biology class Solaria had a habit of being paranoid around new people, and had a very hard time trusting others, because of this she has a very hard time forming lasting friendships.

STRENGTHS :
Solaria is strong, literally, she grew up helping a lot around the house and used to work out every other day with her younger brother, she can always tell east and west, and math’s never been a problem.

CHARISMATIC PERSONALITY :
Solaria is creative and intuitive, after years of bullying in school she knows what feeling worthless is like and does her best to make sure others don’t feel the same way she used to. She is very loud about morals and justice, living by ‘An if it harm none, Do as ye will’. Solaria spends so much time reading about all sorts of things that she can normally hold a solid conversion about anything, she’s genuinely interested in other people; what they think and feel, so she comes off as very chatty. But she’d more of a flight rather than fight girl and will shut down when bullied or confronted.


MOTHER : Raven Elaina Lockswork (formerly Martell), she says she’s 40 -but how long has she been 40?- and as good looking as she is who are we to argue? No one, that’s who! Despite being almost 50 she still gets hit on more that Solaria, with long white blond hair with bright purple ends, blue eyes and a style that’s a mix of classy business woman and 80s punk rocker she’s Solaria’s best friend. As a hair stylist though she thinking Solaria’s hair needs more color.
FATHER : Miguel J. Locksworth, he long ago ‘lost count’ of his age, but he’s a few years older than his wife, so he should be 43 right? He’s got graying black hair that he’s too lazy to cut and a thick salt and pepper beard. While Miguel is a total atheist he encourages Solaria to study whatever she likes even witchcraft, the man is so laid back, he mocks his son for having not gotten black out drunk yet (We think he’s just joking though).
SIBLINGS : One younger brother, he’s only ever called ‘The Peacock’ for his mess of thick blue, green, and purple Mohawk –his mother’s idea- he’s only 15 but he always has a girlfriend, she’s also honest and short tempered. Peacock runs a video game vlog for all sorts of games and is pretty popular especially in League of legend and Hearth Stone. He’s still pissed that Solaria isn’t his spotter for weight training anymore.
PETS : A great big bear of a dog that lives with her family name Rapuzelda Bear Von Underfoot –or just ‘Zelda Bear’-, and Athena the panda hamster who came with Solaria, don’t worry about Athena, she’s a big girl and has more fight in her than a grasshopper mouse. She once bit a stray cat for getting to close.

HISTORY:
Solaria grew up in Canada on the edge of a town a few hours from the Rocky Mountains. She spend her summers boating, swimming, biking and reading with her family, but come school time she was considered odd, mocked and bullied, everything from her love of strange outfits to her initials became ammo for Solaria’s peers : La-La-La-Loser, the girl without friends because she read too much. Solaria was called useless until she thought herself worthless. She was 13 when her father was offered a job far away and the whole family moved, while it didn’t stop the bulling –she was not the strange new girl with scars on her heart- Solaria did find Wicca. It was a way back to loving herself, and being okay despite the cruelty. Since then she learned about Tarot, herbs, and so called ‘witchcraft’ it just set her as even more of an outcast but she the ‘Goddess’ and the whispers of her lovely warmth when a circle is cast feel a lot like that of Nyx.
